The Whonnock Scouts and their volunteers
braved the rain in order to tackle a section of the Cottonwood Creek riparian
area on September 20th. What a great effort!
Heading down into the ravine, as the volunteers' relentless search for
garbage continues.
A huge
stash of refuse was found on the far bank.
One
has to wonder why anyone would haul this stuff into here?
We
even found an entire car exhaust system.
Here's part of the day's haul.
It was good then, that hot
dogs and hot chocolate were on hand.
